girls blossom camp

FIAT girls enrichment weekends are designed to give young girls an adventure to be Fully Alive. Together they will play games, face challenges, sing songs, laugh, hike, pray, and make life-long friends. Campers will explore what it means to live their FIAT, saying Yes! “Be it done to me according to Thy word” through humility, purity, charity and the openness to obeying God’s plan. Join us and take a step closer to radically embracing the beauty and dignity of every woman through Mary and the Sacraments. Each month will focus on a theme designed to address the monthly liturgical calendar and Saints of the Catholic Church.

February 12-14 "Family"
March 12-14 "Fathers"

April 16-18 "Lights"

May 14-16 "Mothers"

Arrival: 5 pm on Friday

Departure: 10:30 am on Sunday

September is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows. The theme is “Beginnings” – beginning a new school year and beginning as Mary did by saying “Yes” to God. Saint Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Girls will learn about the strength of a Rosary “Devotion” and how to defend themselves and their faith, using the best spiritual weapon – the Rosary. Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, pray for us.

November is the month to remember the Souls in Purgatory. The girls will focus on “Souls” as they join together in prayer with the aid of their Holy brothers and sisters, the Saints. Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, pray for us.

December honors the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Since we were not born without sin and it is also the time of Advent, the theme will be “Penance”.  The girls will focus on what it means to repent and make amends. St. Catherine Laboure, pray for us.

January is the month of the Holy Name of Jesus. The theme will be “Logos” and the girls will build upon the knowledge of their Catholic faith and recognize Jesus as The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.

February is dedicated to the Holy Family. The girls will focus on “Family”, whether at home or within the extended community that is the Mystical Body of Christ. Saint Scholastica, pray for us.

March honors the fatherhood of St. Joseph, so the theme this month will be “Fathers”.  The girls will focus on what it means to be loved by a Father, and love God, the ultimate Father. Euphrasia of Constantinople, pray for us.

April is dedicated to the Holy Spirit.  The theme this month is “Lights”. The girls will focus on the importance of light, its impact on the dark, and how to shine their light into the world. Saint Teresa of Los Andes, pray for us.

May honors the Blessed Virgin Mary, so the theme will naturally be “Mothers”. The girls will focus on what it means to embrace their feminine genius and womanhood through the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Saint Rose Venerini, pray for us.
