Host your next retreat at Santiago! Retreats provide the opportunity for participants to build a strong community of trust while strengthening their own personal relationship with God through discernment and discovery. Situated on 500 acres of wilderness setting, Santiago Retreat Center offers the perfect natural setting to escape from worldly distractions in order to contemplate God's call in one's life.

Due to current events, many parishes are unable to offer their usual Confirmation programming.  To make sure your Candidates are well-formed in the faith, Santiago Retreat Center is developing a unique program to supplement parish confirmation retreats.

We offer frequent Confirmation weekend retreats, as well as school overnight and day retreats in the great outdoors, compliant with social spacing rules and health directives.  Our programs will ensure that the participants meet God where they are, with hands-on training in the faith.

We have a team of priests, ready to teach and nurture, including our Chaplain, Fr. Glenn Baaten, officially assigned to the Santiago Retreat Center by His Excellency Kevin Vann, Bishop of Orange.  Fr. Glenn is an evangelical convert from Protestantism enrolled in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, and parochial administrator of Our Lady of Grace in Covina.

Amenities include a chapel, dining hall, dormitories, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, stage, large field, hiking trails, low ropes, game room, picnic areas, and more. Contact the Santiago Retreat Center Office for assistance with custom-designing your retreat and booking your reservations.

We place a special emphasis on Confirmation preparation, but our summer camps and Catholic school science camps are particularly helpful to our families throughout the southland.
