Life is Worth Living - The Four Last Things; Death, Judgement, Heaven, Hell

"Inspired by the wisdom of the great Bishop Sheen, we will explore the truths of our faith and delve into the ultimate question: What is the meaning of life?"

Featured speaker:

Dr. Scott French

Dr. Scott French is a board-certified Emergency Physician who has witnessed firsthand the alarming rise in youth depression, suicide, and despair—trends only worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. His search for answers led him to view the Shroud of Turin in 2015, sparking a deep investigation into the intersection of science, faith, and the afterlife.

Through his work with the Magis Center, where he now serves as a board member, Dr. French explores the scientific and medical evidence supporting the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin and the Real Presence in the Eucharist. He also draws on insights from near-death experiences (NDEs) to highlight the soul’s enduring journey and the reality of eternal life—powerful counterpoints to the secular worldview that leaves many youth in spiritual crisis.

Dr. French's presentations blend rigorous science with spiritual truths, offering hope grounded in evidence: that death is not the end, and that faith and science together point to something far greater.
