Due to ever-increasing enrollment, we are looking to add additional staff to our already strong team of trade instructors. The Santiago Catholic Trade School, an apostolate of Santiago Retreat Center, forms young men through a life of prayer, study, and work, helping them grow into men of strong faith and virtue — future leaders in their families, parishes, and communities. *Veterans and those with a heart for service are especially encouraged to apply.

 

General Construction Foreman – Part Time or Full Time

​​

Role:

• Lead student work crews on active projects.

• Teach fundamentals across general trades through hands-on instruction.

• Plan tasks, set a safe jobsite, and uphold quality standards .

​​

Required disposition and skills:

• Lives in fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

• Broad practical experience across general construction.

• Proven leadership with small crews and apprentices.

• Patient teacher who explains, demonstrates, and supervises well.

• Organized, safety minded, and results oriented.

 

Resident Advisor – (Full Time, Live-in)

​

Role:

• Accompany and mentor young men in community life.

• Foster a culture of prayer, study, work, and brotherhood.

• Support daily schedule, dorm life, and formation activities.

​

Required disposition and skills:

• Lives in fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

• Able to reside on site at Santiago Retreat Center.

• Steady prayer life and willingness to model the Christian life.

• Calm presence, good judgment, and clear communication.

• Works well on a team. Able to receive and give direction with charity.

• Joyful witness who invests in the growth of our students.
